Sessions involve a series of exercises performed on specialized Pilates equipment and on mats to enhance the movements in a variety of positions.

Duet Sessions:

Experience personal training at a reduced rate and twice the fun.

Prerequisites:
  • 4 Private One-on-One Sessions OR
  • 10 Pilates Mat Classes

  • Please call the studio for additional information about duet sessions.

    Post-Rehab Program:

    Recovering from an Injury?

Injury and stress change your neuromuscular patterning and create unconscious, imbalanced movement patterns.

Our trainers will work with you to reprogram these patterns through a detailed analysis of:
  • The way you walk
  • Your Standing Posture
  • Strength and Flexibility Testing

  • In addition to studio time, clients will be given homework exercises to further his/her progress.

PLEASE NOTE: While we are prepared to work with you and your regular health care provider to address your specific neuromuscular issues, we are not credentialed to diagnose your injury or condition.

We have an excellent roster of local professionals who are equipped to provide a diagnosis should you need a referral.

    Group Mat Classes*:

Mat work is the heart of the Pilates program and can be a lot of fun in a group setting. Pilates mat exercises focus on strengthening the muscles of the trunk and hip (core) while increasing overall flexibility of both the spine and hips.

*All Group Pilates mat classes are held one block down the street from PH at Bernal Yoga - 461 Cortland Ave, SF

    So Where Should I Begin?

We recommend beginning with a private session and/or an Intro Series.

You may find that in the beginning, taking a few private sessions will further your progress along by increasing your overall body awareness. First sessions are designed to discover your unique goals, strengths and limitations.

From there, there are several ways to go depending on your specific needs and goals. Some students stick with mat or privates primarily. Others combine mat classes with their private sessions. Talk with your trainer about what’s the best approach for you.

However you chose to get started, your body will thank you and we will be delighted to welcome you into the Pilates Heights community. There is no better time to begin than now (review our class schedule)
