3-person mat AND 2-person reformer / springboard sessions Workout with a partner - big savings! (see our Rates page) With only 2-3 students in each class, you will be sure to receive close attention and tailored instruction, fit to your body's unique design. It's never to late - Uncover your body's hidden strengths and take control of your body's weaknesses! The 3-person sessions focus on mastering the Pilates principals through matwork, with the use of Pilates props. The 2-person sessions (duets) focus on using the Pilates machines (reformers and springboards) in combination with matwork. Find your own partner(s) and give us a call with your ideal schedule. Receive a discount on your 8-session package purchase when you create your own class/partnership (see Rates page). Prerequisites: 2 private sessions OR 8 recent mat classes OR consent from the studio. We highly recommend that you and your partner(s) be of similar level and ability. Questions? Thank you. Drop-In Class Descriptions Pilates Basics - Wake up your core, release muscular tension, connect with your body and learn how to move with freedom! Pilates Basics is perfect for you if you are new to Pilates, a new mom, recovering from an injury (with doctor's permission), a continuing student wanting to brush up on proper alignment / positioning. Join us and learn the Pilates fundamentals in a safe, engaging and fun environment! Mixed Level - A moderately paced class, Level I/II is suited for enthusiastic beginners as well as seasoned Pilates students. You’ll be guided through the classic mat repertoire, incorporating props for greater core awareness. In these classes, fluidity of movement, flexibility, proper alignment and breath will be emphasized. Intermediate – A more rigorous & dynamic flow for continuing Pilates students who are ready for the next step in their core fitness.
