Duets  (2-person sessions) are a great way to experience many of the benefits of personal training, with a partner, at a reduced rate.  Being accountable to a partner can also be an effective tool in both motivating you and maintaining consistency with your fitness program.  Prerequisites:  In general, if you are completely new to Pilates, we recommend that both you and your partner come in for a couple of private sessions.  Duet Session Rates

Class Descriptions

Pilates Level 1 - Enjoy this full body beginner-level workout and start to build the foundation to a more stable and mobile body. "Pilates - Level 1" is the perfect class if you are new to Pilates or Pilates Heights. Level 1 classes are also great for continuing students looking to improve on the fundamentals - alignment, sequencing, breath, balance, control & flexibility. You will be working on the mat and with a variety of stability props. In addition, Level 1 classes introduce students to the Pilates springboards, getting you prepared for Level 2 and 3 classes. If you've never worked with the springboard before, you're in for a treat! Class size is limited to 5 students. PREREQUISITES: An open mind, ready for change. If you are working with any injuries or chronic pain, give us a call before signing up for group classes. Please consult your physician before starting any new fitness program.

Pilates Level 2 - Equivalent to "advanced beginner" or moderate “mixed level.” This class provides a full body workout utilizing traditional Pilates spring resistance (springboards) and a variety of Pilates props. Classes focus on stability and core challenges while integrating dynamic and fluid sequencing. Class size is limited to 5 students. PREREQUISITES: By level 2 you should have some Pilates experience and feel comfortable working on the Pilates springboards, changing your spring settings, etc. You're not an expert, but you're also not a newbie. If you're not sure, give us a call or ask your Level 1 instructor if you're ready to take the next step.

Pilates Level 3 - This is an energetic "mixed level" or "intermediate" level class. Take your Pilates practice to the next level with this energizing, deepening and full body workout utilizing the Pilates springboard, Pilates ball, mat work and more! Class size is limited to 5 students. PREREQUISITES: Pilates experience on the Pilates Springboards is required for LEVEL 3 classes. For example, by Level 3 you should be able to do a roll up without pain and unassisted -OR- know how to safely modify a roll up on your own. You should also feel comfortable changing your own spring settings on the springboards. By Level 3 your body awareness is pretty good -- you know when it's time to hold back or when to push yourself safely. If you are not sure about your level, please give us a call or ask your Level 1 or 2 instructor if you're ready to take the next step.

Gentle Pilates Level 1 - 2 - Gentle Pilates puts a slower spin on the traditional Pilates system in a safe and supportive environment. This class is perfect for all levels - beginners, new mom's, folks looking to rebuild their bodies post-rehab (with Dr's consent) and continuing Pilates students looking to deepen their practice. PREREQUISITES: Some Pilates experience is encouraged for this class. If you are working with injuries or chronic pain, give us a call before signing up for this or any group class. Please consult your physician before starting any new fitness program.
